Amsterdam City Library
space
Modern, clean and accessible is how we approached the study floor at the Amsterdam City Library. Simple rectangular geometric forms were created that housed different study rooms, meeting rooms and collaborative rooms. The exterior of these forms are clad in a slate grey stone, while inside, each study room was treated in a different application to give user’s a choice of the experience they want. Some of the rooms where bright, white with soft drapery while others were wrapped in custom wall covering with images of the world.
